What Is His Purpose?

1. Slenderman usually frequents areas where children gather in groups.
2. He somehow appears friendly to children and lures them into oblivion.
3. When Slenderman does appear to adults, he is usually the last thing they see.
4. Slenderman stalks his victims, often for years at a time.
5. When he has chosen a victim, they will offer suffer from terrifying nightmares from which they cannot wake.
6. One of the signatures on the declaration of independence appears to say ‘S. Lendermann’.
7. ...the very same signature can be found on the 1000-year old document ‘The Magna Carta’.
8. Slenderman will often stand at the bottom of his younger victims’ stairs at night, waiting for them to traverse the upstairs landing. He will then reach out a hand and stroke the bare ankles of the unfortunate child.
9. Slenderman just wants twenty dollars.
10. Slenderman eats his victims’ hearts whilst crouching over a maggot-riddled sarcophagus.
