  1. When Slenderman passes a cathedral, gargoyles will often turn their heads to follow him.
  2. Slenderman has been known to take refuge in dark and lonely water.
  3. Slenderman has a shadow form known as “The Darkman”. Although it normally follows him like a standard shadow, it can detach itself and enter a house during the hours of dusk and dawn.
  4. Slenderman has a collection of his victims’ eyeballs in dusty jars.
  5. When you reach round a dark corner to switch on a light, be careful. Slenderman will often run his finger over the back of your hand. This is the first signal of his interest in you.
  6. Slenderman is mentioned in the bible, in the passage where an evil king is berating his servants. The king says “I curse you in the name of the thin man and all that is fetid and slender”.
  7. A Swedish studio began to make a movie about Slenderman. On the second day of the filming (in a lonely forest location), all noise halted apart from a the fluttering wings of a white owl which flew straight at the actors who then caught on fire. None survived.
  8. There is no such thing as ‘slenderphobia’ - no fear of Slenderman is irrational.
  9. Slenderman has never been witnessed moving; only ever standing still - watching, waiting.
