Letters to the Earth was born in the spring of 2019 – a callout to the public to write a letter in response to climate and ecological emergency. Over one thousand letters were received and read in venues worldwide. Letters continue to be written and presented by individuals all around the world. The campaign is part of Culture Declares Emergency, an international movement calling on culture to do its part to tell the truth about the climate and ecological crisis.
