There are times when I simply don’t want to write books in a series. I want the freedom of doing a “one and done” romance, so that’s where standalone romances come in. This story was inspired by the cover art. I saw it on the designer’s website and pondered over it for a couple of weeks then decided to buy it. After that, the muse went crazy with giving me the story.
I hope you enjoy the romance between Oliver and Marjorie. It was really fun to write and not need to worry about fitting it into a series.
