The beetroot/beets and red cabbage give a pleasant earthiness to this juice, which is lifted by the sweetness of the grapes. It has an amazing colour, too! Check the daily dosage on your bottle of milk thistle extract as the recommended amount can vary depending on the brand.
2 carrots, peeled and halved lengthways
2 raw beetroot/beets, quartered
2 handfuls of sliced red cabbage
5 radishes, halved
3 large handfuls of seedless black grapes
2 teaspoons spirulina powder (see page 18)
6–12 drops milk thistle extract (seepage 18) (check the recommended dosage on the bottle)

Juice the carrots, beetroot/beets, red cabbage, radishes and grapes then stir in the spirulina and milk thistle.
