Carrots aren’t just great for vision, they also help to cleanse, nourish and stimulate the whole body. As well as being nutritionally generous, they also provide a lot of liquid when juiced as well as a slight sweetness.
6 medium carrots, peeled and halved lengthways
4 handfuls of shredded white cabbage
2 medium pears, quartered and cored
2.5-cm/1-inch piece fresh root ginger, peeled and halved
1–2 teaspoons detox mix (see page 16)
chia seeds, for sprinkling

Juice the carrots, white cabbage, pears and ginger then stir in the detox mix and sprinkle with chia seeds before serving.
