When you know your iron levels are lacking and you’re feeling below par, then start the day with this iron-rich, reviving juice for a week or two.
2 large oranges, peeled and quartered
2 medium uncooked beetroot/beets, peeled and quartered
2 medium carrots, peeled and halved lengthways
1 good handful of seedless black grapes
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons açaí berry powder (see page 14)
¼ teaspoon chia seeds (see page 15)
SERVES 2
Juice the oranges, beetroot/beets, carrots and grapes then stir in the lemon juice and açaí powder. Sprinkle with the chia seeds.
