Raspberry and goji restorer

This simple blended drink combines the super-nutrients of raspberries with those of goji berries – a potent combo! Raspberries are particularly rich in brain-boosting B vitamins, which have been found to curb memory loss in later life.

2 tablespoons goji berries

4 large handfuls of raspberries or blueberries

1 large cooked beetroot/beet, chopped

1–2 teaspoons wheatgrass powder (see page 18)

SERVES 2

Soak the goji berries in 3 tablespoons pure or filtered water for 15 minutes until softened, then tip the berries and their soaking liquid into a blender. Add the raspberries, beetroot/beet and wheatgrass powder as well as 250 ml/ 1 cup pure or filtered water, then blend until smooth. If you dislike seeds, strain the juice through a sieve before drinking.
