The lacuma powder gives a natural sweetness to this smoothie, without the need for adding extra sugar. This recipe can also be adapted to make a delicious fruity yogurt ice, just halve the quantity of nut milk and freeze in a lidded container.
2 handfuls of fresh or frozen raspberries
2 handfuls of fresh or frozen blueberries
200 ml/generous ¾ cup low-fat natural bio yogurt
300 ml/1¼ cups almond milk (see page 22)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 heaped teaspoon lacuma powder (see page 16)
2 teaspoons açaí berry powder (see page 14)
½ teaspoon chia seeds (see page 15) (optional)
SERVES 2
Put the raspberries, blueberries, yogurt, almond milk, vanilla, lacuma and açaí berry powder in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve sprinkled with chia seeds, if you like.
