Madhav Nayak spent his formative years in Mumbai, where he completed his schooling, undergraduate degree and MBA, and found his first love who later miraculously agreed to marry him. Mumbai is also where he learnt crucial life lessons—like no matter how busy you are, there’s always time for chai and vada-pav.
Growing up, Madhav’s passion for cricket—watching, reading and blogging about the sport—was closely matched by his appetite for crime fiction. No googly then that his debut novel, A Murder Is Fixed, is a detective mystery set in Mumbai against the backdrop of the cricketing world.
