ROSEWOODS PLANTATION

image

One of the strongholds of the Red Conclave, although it isn’t widely known as such. From the outside the plantation house looks luxurious. It was built with tan stones and decorated with white wooden carvings sometimes referred to in the construction trades as ‘gingerbread’. Large octagon windows added to the overall look of the house. Similar housing for workers was scattered throughout the plantation.

The Plantation acreage is huge. Many fields of various crops were interspersed with large patches of forest left for native animals and plants. Cattle, goats, and sheep frolicked and loitered in the pastures. Passing through the various fields, ran well kept, dusty roads. Several barns provided shelter to livestock, along with various sheds which might have held tools or robot repair garages, a few were undoubtably Hermit Flyer coops, or lint dragon box hives. The boxes stood just behind the main buildings. A modern greenhouse stood to the side of the plantation house courtyard.
