Scripture referenced: Mosiah 27:8
In Voices from the Dust, S. Kent Brown clarifies that the sons of Mosiah left on their mission around 94 BC. This leads us to believe that events leading up to the appearance of the angel to Alma the Younger and the sons of Mosiah took place in 95 or 94 BC (see Voices from the Dust, Chronological Chart, 218).
