The Military Leaders

No individual can be credited, or in some cases blamed, with single-handedly altering the course of the war. However, the military leaders on all sides significantly influenced the results of all of the most major battles fought. The military leaders with the most knowledge of the situation at hand, the most control of the decision-making, and the keenest insight to plan ahead, proved to be among the most definitive factors in the results of the war.
