ABOUT THE CONTRIBUTORS
Laura Resen
is an artist and photographer whose work has appeared in many commercial and
editorial publications. Her fine art photography, drawings, and paintings are collected inter-
nationally, and are sold at Aero Studios. Laura holds a BFA from the Cooper Union in New York
City, where she first met and worked with Thomas in their student days together. She lives in
upstate New York.
Lisa Light
has co-authored several design books and has both written and consulted for a number
of well known design, lifestyle, and sustainability brands. She met Thomas on assignment in 1999
and has been writing for Aero Studios and related business partners for the past decade. In
addition, she serves as the contributing brand strategist at Aero. Lisa lives in Seattle.
Since opening its doors in 1992,
Aero Studios
has been a destination in downtown Soho for
traditional to modernist home furnishings and hand-picked finds. Aero is both a store and the
design studio of Thomas O’Brien, sharing one roof as linked parts of O’Brien’s creative workshop.
