Glen E. Clarke (MCSE/MCSD/MCDBA/CCNA/CEH/CHFI/Security+/Network+/A+) is an independent trainer and consultant, focusing on network security and security auditing services. Glen spends most of his time delivering certified courses on A+, Network+, Windows Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange Server, Visual Basic .NET, and ASP.NET. Glen also teaches a number of security-related courses covering topics such as ethical hacking and countermeasures, vulnerability testing, firewall design, and packet analysis.
Glen is an experienced author and technical editor who has worked on over 20 certification books. Glen designed and coauthored the award-nominated A+ Certification Bible and has worked on certification titles involving topics such as Windows certification, Cisco CCENT and CCNA certification, Network+ certification, and Security+ certification. Glen is author of the CCENT Certification All-In-One For Dummies, CompTIA Security+ Certification Study Guide, and CompTIA Network+ Certification Study Guide.

Edward Tetz graduated in 1990 from Saint Lawrence College in Cornwall, Ontario with a degree in Business Administration. Since that time he has spent his career delivering certified technical training for a Microsoft Training Center and working as a consultant for a Halifax, Nova Scotia–based value-added reseller. While working as a consultant, he has supported Apple Macintosh, IBM OS/2, Linux, Novell NetWare, and all Microsoft operating systems from MS-DOS to Windows Server 2012, as well as hardware from most of the major manufacturers. This work was primarily focused around supporting enterprise and government customers. He currently works for Microsoft in Enterprise Service Delivery in Ottawa, Ontario, still supporting similar customers.
Some of the certifications that he holds include A+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), ITIL Foundations Certificate in IT Service Management (IT Infrastructure Library), Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), and Chauncey Group’s Certified Technical Trainer (CTT).
When writing is not filling up his non-working hours, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharon, and his two girls, Emily and Mackenzie.

Timothy Warner is an IT professional, technical trainer, and author based in Nashville, Tennessee. Tim’s been involved with computers in one way or another since 1982, when he received a Commodore 64 as a birthday present.
Tim considers himself an IT generalist because he enjoys practically every facet of information technology. Since entering the field in 1997, Tim worked a variety of job roles in the education and enterprise business sectors: PC repair technician, systems administrator, technology developer, and software architect.
Some of the certifications Tim holds include the CompTIA A+ (since 1999), Network+, Security+ and CTT+; Microsoft MCSE in Windows Server, SQL Server and SharePoint Server; and various Apple, Cisco, and Novell titles.
When he’s not working, Tim loves composing on his guitar (he lives in Music City, USA, after all), and spending time with his wife, Susan, and daughter, Zoey, and their animal menagerie.
