If your cat is calm and relaxed, you can probably rest the hat on her head and snap a couple of quick photos for Instagram before she moves. If you’re having trouble with the hat sliding off, a small square of double-stick tape will do the trick! It’s not sticky enough harm your feline friend, and you’ll be able to get some more dramatic angles during fashion shoots.
My general rule when working with animals is the same as the Humane Society’s: don’t do anything to an animal you wouldn’t do to a newborn baby. I personally have no problem taping things to infants, but perhaps not everyone feels the same. It’s up to you.
