SAVORY SOUP SPICE BLEND

Yield: ½ cup

Simply add this soup blend to chicken, beef, or veggie stock to create a base for a tasty soup. Toss in any veggies, chicken, or seafood you like.

2 tablespoons dried parsley

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon granulated garlic

1½ teaspoons dried chervil

1½ teaspoons dried basil

1½ teaspoons dried marjoram

1½ teaspoons dried celery seed

1 teaspoon dried savory

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon fresh or dried lemon zest*

Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly in an airtight container. Store away from heat and light at room temperature if you use dried lemon zest, and in the freezer in a tightly sealed plastic bag if you use fresh zest.
