Green Smoothie

SERVES 1

2 large handfuls fresh spinach

⅓ apple, cored

⅓ lemon, peeled and seeded

½ banana, frozen

¼ avocado, peeled (optional)

Combine the spinach, apple, lemon, banana, and avocado, if using, in a blender and blend until smooth. Add water as needed to reach the desired consistency.
