4 chicken legs
Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Herbes de Provence
Take the chicken legs out of the fridge and let them warm up on the counter for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the chicken legs with salt, pepper, and herbes de Provence. Add the chicken legs to the skillet—they should sizzle when they hit the pan. Cook on the first side long enough to make sear marks and until the legs lift off the pan easily. Flip them over and finish them off in the oven for about 15 minutes or until they are cooked through.
