Garlic Oven Fries

Makes 4 servings

4 baking potatoes

4 T. extra-virgin olive oil

2 t. salt

1 t. pepper

1-1/2 T. garlic, minced

Cut potatoes lengthwise into 1/2-inch wide slices. Place in a bowl and toss with remaining ingredients. Arrange potato slices on an ungreased baking sheet in a single layer. Bake at 400 degrees until potatoes are golden on the bottom, about 30 minutes. Turn over and continue baking until golden all over, another 15 minutes. Serve immediately.

Top Garlic Oven Fries with melted cheese to make the easiest cheesy fries, or top them with salt and vinegar and they’ll taste just like the ones from the county fair!
