Makes 4 to 6 servings
2 c. cooked ham, diced
2 c. milk
1 c. boiling water
10-3/4 oz. can Cheddar cheese soup
7.8-oz. pkg. cheesy scalloped potato mix
2 11-oz. cans sweet corn & diced peppers, drained
Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker; mix well. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 to 9 hours.

• Always brown beef or pork to help it cook more evenly.
• Go ahead and double or triple the amount of meat or poultry, but only increase the seasonings by half.
• For soups and stews, double or triple all the ingredients, except for the liquid, seasonings, cornstarch and herbs.
