Ya’Acov Darling Khan is acknowledged as a practising shaman by indigenous elder shamans from the Arctic to the Amazon. He believes that a shift from society’s focus on acquisition to reciprocity, a universal shamanic principal, is the key to repairing and evolving our connection to Self, each other and the biosphere on which we depend.

From an early age, Ya’Acov felt drawn to the invisible world of spirit that he sensed behind the physical world. A lightning strike on a golf course proved to be the awakening that changed the course of his life. It led to more than three decades of intense study and practice with indigenous and modern shamans from around the world.

Ya’Acov’s teaching is inspiring, practical and directly from the heart. His audience includes people from all walks of life. He has taught on some of the most pre-eminent platforms driving the transformation of world culture and sustainability, including California’s Esalen Institute and the Embodiment Conference. He founded Movement Medicine – an embodied, engaged shamanic practice for our times – with his wife, Susannah. The both teach worldwide and online.

Ya’Acov is the author of the bestselling Jaguar in the Body, Butterfly in the Heart and co-author, with Susannah, of Movement Medicine. He lives on an eco-smallholding with Susannah, their son, Reuben, and four Exmoor ponies.
