Chapter Six
“Cherry? Honey? It’s almost noon.”
Noon? Fuck! She wanted to wake up early and sneak into Phil’s cabin. If he wouldn’t get inside her while he was awake, her only chance was to fuck him in his sleep. He’d probably think he was just dreaming, anyway. If he thought it wasn’t real, he might even get into it.
Shielding her eyes as her mother opened the door, Cherry said, “My throat hurts.”
And then she remembered why her throat hurt, and she wished she hadn’t said anything.
“Oh, I hope you’re not coming down with something. Would you like a cup of tea?”
Nodding, Cherry said, “Mint.”
“I could go for a lazy day,” Mom said before stepping out the door. “Why don’t you get out your laptop and we’ll watch a movie?”
Cherry’s heart swelled when her mother smiled like that. She wouldn’t have admitted it to Brad, but she liked spending time with her parents. Not so much at home, when they had work and school and life to contend with, but it was always different in the woods.
She didn’t speak to Phil all day. Not even when she walked by him at the picnic table, after she and her mom finished watching Monster In Law for the billionth time. For some reason, as soon as she laid eyes on him, she got in a bad mood. She didn’t know why… except she needed a good fuck and she wasn’t sure he’d ever comply.
“Did your mother tell you about the star-gazing thing tonight?” Daddy asked as Cherry sorted through the cooler for something soothing to eat.
“What star-gazing thing?” Phil asked, looking up from the book he was reading at the table. Cherry could see him out of the corner of her eye, but she ignored his question.
“Mommy didn’t say anything,” Cherry told her father.
“After dark they’re doing an all-ages astronomy show at Flat Rock.”
“Okay.” Her insides hopped with delight, but she tried to restrain herself. She didn’t want Phil thinking she was a total dork for getting excited about astronomy. “Could be good, I guess.”
It was BYO-towel, for the star-gazing. At dusk, they met the activity host—ooh, it was the cute park ranger from registration!—and followed him up the twisting path. More than a dozen campers, maybe even two dozen, had come out for the astronomy lesson: couples, singles, families, groups.
The little kids were cute. They were so excited, the lucky bastards. Cherry missed those days when it was okay to love stars and planets and animals and forests. Just because a girl liked natural science shouldn’t make her a loser.
“Cherry? Cherry! Hang back for a second.”
She didn’t have to turn around to know Phil’s voice. Slowing her gait, she let a few groups pass, putting distance between herself and her parents.
“Did I do something wrong?” he whispered as they trailed behind.
“No. Why?”
“You’ve been ignoring me all day. I knew we shouldn’t have…”
Cherry rolled her eyes. “Somebody’s full of himself.”
He took her by the wrist, just subtly. “So, you’re not upset with me?”
She had to laugh. “You sound more like a teenager than my boyfriend.”
Oops. She shouldn’t have said that, judging by the pained expression on Phil’s face.
“Phil?” she asked, probably a little too loudly. “Who did your wife cheat with?”
“Cherry!” His voice went all low and growly. “We’re not discussing this.”
“Was it a co-worker? It’s usually someone you work with, I guess because you spend all day with them.”
He let out a huff. “It wasn’t a co-worker.”
“Who was it then?”
“Cherry!”
Ooh, he was serious. She didn’t push her luck.
“You’re sure you don’t regret what happened between us?” Phil asked.
“We gave each other head. So what? That’s barely even sex.”
The woman walking in front of them turned around and shot Cherry a dirty look.
“Maybe we should enjoy each other’s company in silence,” Phil suggested, giving the woman a gracious smile.
There wasn’t anything else to talk about, anyway.
“Wow,” Phil said, when they arrived at the trail’s head. “What is this place?”
“Flat Rock.”
Cherry had visited this plateau every summer since she was a baby. It was hard to imagine seeing it for the first time. What was most striking about it? Maybe the fact that this horizontal stretch of grey rock was totally surrounded by trees.
“When I was a kid, I used to love the veins of quartz.”
“Where?” Phil asked.
She showed him with the toe of her canvas shoe. “Right there. See the white line? I’d try to pick out little bits of it. I wanted to take it home with me. All of it. Daddy used to tell me it’s too big, Flat Rock. It had to stay in the woods.”
“Speaking of your father, where did your parents end up?”
Cherry gazed across the rock, at campers on their blankets and towels. “They’re at the other end of Flat Rock. Get down so they don’t see us.”
Stretching their towels side by side, Cherry and Phil settled in next to one another. As the sky went dark, the cute park ranger began his introduction to the star-gazing lecture.
It felt so good, lying under the naked sky, watching the stars appear as if they were new. As the cute forest ranger pointed out emerging constellations, Phil’s fingers crept across the rock face. When his little finger looped around hers, an inferno sped through her bloodstream. It felt like… happiness? Happiness. Pure joy.
And then the sensation morphed, until its heat eclipsed joy and felt closer to bliss. But not a virgin’s bliss—oh no. Something more like ecstasy, and an ecstasy beyond orgasm. How was he doing that? She felt him inside her like a full-bodied fuck, and only their fingers were touching.
Curling up to him, Cherry whispered in Phil’s ear, “I want you so bad.”
“Cherry!” He scolded her quietly, glancing at the family lying beside him to make sure they hadn’t heard. “Hush, now.”
She cuddled so close their arms touched. “How’s that?”
He didn’t answer. She had a feeling he wouldn’t acknowledge her come-on, so she slowly slid her bare calf over his. His leg hairs tickled a bit as she hooked her leg around, working her thigh up his.
Letting out a violent huff, Phil pushed her thigh away. The park ranger must have noticed, because he stopped talking about Calliope long enough to glance in their directions.
“Jerk,” Cherry grumbled, moving away. He was the one who started it, after all. He touched her little finger, didn’t he? Why would he tease her if he didn’t want more?
Crossing her arms, Cherry listened intently to the astronomy talk. She’d heard it before, but it never stopped being interesting. The park ranger talked about the different Greek gods constellations were based on. Some of the stories were a little risqué for a family event, but campers were usually pretty relaxed about that stuff.
Staring into the night sky, Cherry started to wish Brad were there beside her. He wouldn’t have pushed her thigh away… except, he’d probably complain about how stupid this “science stuff” was. Whenever she tried to talk to him about the environment, or get him to watch wildlife shows on TV, he told her she was a nerd for being into all that.
Damn it… Brad was really mean to her. All along, her dad had told her that. Why did she never listen? And Mom was right, too: what kind of boyfriend breaks up with you because you miss one lousy concert? She was away with her family, for fuck’s sake! He should be more understanding.
So, what was she supposed to do now that she’d realized Brad was kind of a douche? She’d always had a boyfriend, ever since she was twelve years old. And she never broke up with one without having another waiting in the wings.
Phil was right there, close enough to touch. If she worked just a bit harder, she’d be his fuck-doll by the end of the night, but would he ever agree to be her boyfriend? Not in a million years! And, even if he did, they’d definitely have to keep it a secret. Phil wouldn’t want Mom and Daddy knowing they were together. If she was totally honest, she didn’t want to admit that she liked a man so much older than she was. Her parents would think she had a screw loose.
And what would her friends think? Maybe a few would be grossed out that she was dating an old guy, but some would probably think she was cool for snagging Daddy’s divorced friend. That was such an adult thing to do.
Anyway, her higher education started in September. She’d meet new people. When she met other couples, she could be like, “We should double date! You’ll love Phil. And, don’t worry, he’ll pay for everything.”
Wow… a boyfriend with a real job! Cherry got tingles in her fingers when she thought about dining in fancy restaurants and romantic getaways at expensive inns. Just like her parents did for their date nights and weekends away. In no time, she could go from teenager to sophisticated lady, all thanks to Phil.
Rolling toward him, she whispered, “I want you to fuck me right here on this rock.”
His cock spoke for him, tenting his shorts. He crossed his legs and cleared his throat, and that was good enough for Cherry.
“I know what we can do,” she said. “Get up and go, and be loud about it so everyone notices.”
“What? No, I don’t like drawing attention to myself, Cherry.”
“Trust me on this. I want to make sure my parents think you’re back in your cabin. Just wait in the woods. After this thing is over, wait until everybody leaves. I’ll stick around and we can… you know…”
“You know?” he asked with a chuckle. “You’re bashful all of a sudden.”
“Yeah.” She chewed her finger. “Go on. Go now. And make lots of noise.”
Phil let out a big breath. “I can’t believe I’m making a fool of myself for…”
“Pussy,” Cherry hissed.
He leaned away from her, catching the moonlight in his eyes. “For you.”
Cherry’s heart throbbed as Phil stood up, grabbing his towel. “Whoa Nelly, do I feel tired. Time for beddy-byes.”
“Sir, are you feeling okay?” the park ranger asked.
“Oh fine, fine, fine. Just very sleepy.” Phil reached for his flashlight, and Cherry picked up the cue, handing it to him. “Thanks for your very informative presentation, young man. I’ll recommend you to all my friends.”
“Phil? Is that you?” Daddy called out from the other side of Flat Rock. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing at all,” Phil said, from the edge of the woods. “Just dog-tired. See you in the morning!”
Cherry snickered as his light disappeared in the woods. He must have been so embarrassed, interrupting the park ranger like that, but he’d done it. For her.
She squirmed against the seam of her shorts for the whole rest of the astronomy talk. By the time the cute ranger wrapped things up, her temperature had almost gone supernova and her heart was trying to beat out of her chest.
“I wonder what got into Phil,” Daddy said as the group of campers filtered toward the wooded trail. “Was he drunk, do you think? I’ve never seen him behave that way in all the years we’ve known each other.”
“I think he was just tired.” Cherry spied her father’s arm around her mother’s waist—perfect! Those two wanted to get back. They wouldn’t keep a tight rein on her.
“Is it just me, or are we covered in grit?” her mother asked. “I can’t wait to jump in the shower.”
Perfect, perfect, perfect!
“Oh, I know exactly what you mean,” Cherry said. “I think I’ll stop at the wash station on the way back to camp.”
She hung back in the crowd as her parents and everyone else disappeared into the woods. Her belly fluttered when a firm hand found her shoulder. “Everyone’s returning to their campsites now.”
“I know!” Cherry said, spinning around in the dark. “Can you believe this is actually gonna… oh.”
The hand wasn’t Phil’s. Neither was the voice. They belonged to the cute park ranger. Crap!
“Come on, let’s keep up with the group,” he said, urging her gently toward the woods. “Don’t want you getting lost in the forest.”
“Yeah, definitely. That would suck.”
Crap, crap, crap! How was she supposed to get out of this? His hand wouldn’t leave her shoulder. She felt like the bad girl getting dragged to the principal’s office.
“Oh, oops. My shoelace is undone.” Oldest trick in the book, but would it work? “Don’t lose the group.”
“It’s okay,” he said. “I’ll wait.”
Oh, for fuck’s sake! Cherry kneeled down, setting her flashlight on the ground while she pretended to tie her shoe. The first time she’d set eyes on this guy, she’d gone all fluttery. He was still cute, but he was driving her crazy. As he led her to the clearing, all she wanted was to run back the other way.
As soon as the group dispersed, that’s precisely what she did.
Her heart pounded as she raced back the way she’d come. The woods hadn’t seemed at all scary with the whole group around her, but alone the forest seemed dark and dense and dangerous. What was that crackle in the bush? Was that a snarl? Oh god, how far was Flat Rock? And would Phil have waited? If he saw her taking off with a cute young guy’s arm around her shoulders, would he have gotten jealous and thrown in the towel?
“Cherry? Is that you?”
She shone her flashlight across Flat Rock to make sure the voice was actually Phil’s this time. The last thing she wanted to do was strip naked only to find her father calling her name.
“Phil?”
When her light found his face, Cherry felt airy, like she might float away. Her skin tingled. So did her pussy.
“Over here.” He’d laid out his towel, and she put hers on top of his. Kneeling on the rock face, he snapped off his flashlight. She extinguished hers too.
For the first few seconds, she couldn’t see a thing. She felt dizzy. That swirling sensation centred between her legs, but it made her feel so light-headed she wasn’t sure whether she was sitting or standing or lying down.
“Phil?” She had tears in her eyes. “Where are you?”
His hands found her wrists. “I’m here. Right here.”
She could feel his hot cheek on her belly right through the light cotton fabric of her T-shirt. But that wasn’t enough. Not nearly enough.
“Let me take off my top.” She tugged, but he held her wrists harder. She felt tied to the rock, a little panicky even though she had no reason to be. She was safe with Phil.
Right?
“Look up.” He said. “Look up at the stars.”
She did, and they were spectacular. So many! They’d never looked as beautiful as they did that night.
Stars were meant for sharing.
Slowly, Phil released Cherry’s wrists. His fingers found the button on her shorts and slid it through the hole. When he released her zipper, her shorts slid down her legs. Her white panties fluoresced in the moonlight. Her skin did, too.
Phil faded into the shadows. It could have been a total stranger undressing her.
Cherry pulled off her T-shirt, feeling her hair splash against her bare back. Her bra had no clasps, and she tore that over her head, too. The shadow of Phil’s face settled across the crotch of her panties and he found her mound with his lips, kissing over the cotton.
“Oh god.” Cherry wove her fingers through his hair. “That feels so good.”
When she looked down, she still couldn’t see his face in the darkness. She fixated on her pink nipples as they hardened against the cool night air. Her breasts looked so good that she couldn’t resist touching them while Phil nibbled her pussy through her panties.
“I’m getting so wet,” she whispered, as if anyone might hear her. “That feels amazing.”
He yanked down her underpants and parted her lips with his tongue.
“Holy Fuck!” Her knees buckled and she landed in front of him on his towel. He was only a dark shape, but she could just make out the wolfish glint in his eyes.
With a growl, Phil swept her into his arms. When he pressed her close, her bare breasts met his naked chest. His cock pummelled her pussy.
Phil was naked? When did that happen?
But Cherry didn’t have time to ask before Phil’s tongue tangled with hers. She couldn’t believe how forceful he was, in the dark. The night got deep inside him and changed mild-mannered Phil into a beast.
He forced her to the ground, pressing her back to the rock. She landed awkwardly. The towel was only under her butt, not the rest of her body. Her shoulders dug into grit, and so did her legs as Phil pushed them apart.
“You’re really gonna do it?” she asked. “For real?”
No words from Phil. Only grunts. He’d become a boar in the wilderness, snuffling her hair while his dick searched for her juicy cunt.
“I want this,” Cherry said, though her heart pounded with fear and foreboding. There was no tenderness, no romance, not even in the stars. “I want it, I want it, I want it…”
She kept up the chant while Phil’s erection splashed pre-cum across her slit. He’d found it. Right there… right there, Phil…
“Get in,” she said.
“You want it?” His voice was no longer his own.
“Yes.”
“You want it, slut?”
“Yes!”
“Yeah, you want it.” And he gave it to her, plunging his hard cock between her pussy lips, spreading her open, stretching her with his girth. “You’ve been begging since I got here.”
“Yes.” She tried not to sound too pained, but he fucked her so roughly, right off the bat, that her cunt hadn’t acclimated to his presence. Not yet. She tightened her pussy muscles around his erection. “I wanted you. I want you. I don’t know why.”
“You want my big cock.”
“I know.” She wrapped her hands around his back, holding on for dear life. “Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me...”
The rock face dug into her shoulders as he rammed her. He worked so hard between her legs that she started moving across Flat Rock, her skin scraping against the jags and the grit. She whimpered, trying not to scream or cry, but it hurt. It hurt a lot.
“You’re gonna come so hard,” Phil said, a raspy whisper in her ear. “I’m gonna fill your cunt and you’re gonna like it.”
“Yes.”
He was so potty-mouthed tonight she didn’t even try to keep up. In truth, she felt a little stunned that he was being so forward and forceful. She’d tried so hard to seduce him and he’d been so resistant. Now look at him! Forcing his prick inside her, fucking her uncontrollably, smashing her backside into the rock. Like he didn’t even care. Like all he wanted was to feel the hot hug of her pussy around his dick.
“I want you to come,” he growled. “Howl at the moon. Let the whole park hear you.”
What, on command? Her heart clenched and her belly tightened. Was that excitement or irritation? Who was he to instruct her when to come, or how to do it?
But at the same time, the idea of howling in the night was kind of exciting.
“Don’t you want to come?” Phil’s hard body pressed her smaller frame against the rock.
As his flat chest forced the breath from her lungs, she somehow squeaked the words, “Yes, Daddy…”
“You want to come?” His cock plunged between her wet thighs, faster with every thrust. “You want to come when I fill your tight cunt with jizz?”
“Yes, Daddy.” She could barely speak, barely breathe, but her nails dug into his back as their hips clanged and their chests smashed together. “I want to come, Daddy. I want to come so bad…”
“Then do it, baby.” He fucked her hard enough to drive her ass clear off the towel. Flat Rock didn’t feel so flat when she was getting pounded by a surprisingly strong friend of her father’s.
Her throat released a noise she didn’t recognize. It wasn’t all pleasure—there was a good amount of pain in there, too. The rock seared her flesh like a werewolf’s claws. It tore at her shoulders and sliced both her back and her butt.
“Help!” Cherry cried, drawing the “e” into a long, tortured, open-ended sound.
“No!” Phil’s hand found her mouth. He clasped his open palm across her lips. “Don’t call for help. You want the park rangers coming to rescue you?”
She shook her head and, under his hand, said, “No, Daddy.”
When he released her mouth and started moving inside her, more slowly now, she opened her eyes. She hadn’t realized they were closed.
Stars! God, there were stars everywhere. The trees seemed to open up and invite starlight all around them, like they were floating on an exceedingly jagged cloud. Her heart filled with wonder. It felt as big as a balloon, like it could carry her away.
“Daddy…” Tears filled her eyes and quickly streamed down her cheeks. “It’s so beautiful.”
“No, you are, baby.” He fucked her unrepentantly, like a wild beast mounting a fuzzy, fragile forest creature. “Oh Cherry, you are so fucking gorgeous.”
She tried to get a look at his face before returning the compliment, but his whole body looked black, like a shadow, like he wasn’t real. But she could feel his realness—feel it throbbing inside her cunt while he moved on her and in her. He was invisible, but he was everywhere, pressing harder against her slick clit with every thrust.
“Oh god, Daddy. I’m gonna come. I’m so close.”
“Do it.” His body stroked hers inside and out, building that delicious throb in her belly. “Come for Daddy.”
In the dark, he was everything to her. They were their own planet, hurdling through the solar system, ready to burst into sunlight. When his hard body stroked her just right, she collapsed, sucked into a black hole. Immeasurable forces stretched her in every direction. She screamed, but it wasn’t a scream that came out—it was an animal’s howl, a mating cry, the music of consummated pleasure.
“Fuck me, Daddy! Fuck me!” She wiggled and writhed beneath his trembling form, trying to manifest an orgasm on top of her raging orgasm. “Daddy, I want it. I want it so bad.”
“You got it, baby.” He let the full force of his weight collapse on top of her, driving her scraped-up back against the rock face, making her squeal. “You got it all, Cherry. Can’t you feel my cum inside you?”
Her pussy clenched around his spent cock. Suddenly this felt too real. It had all been a game before, but she’d just fucked her dad’s friend. She barely knew the guy and they hadn’t used a condom. Sure she was on the pill, but what good would that do if he was rife with disease?
She didn’t breathe until he rolled off her, letting out his own relieved sigh.
“Wow,” he said. “This rock is pretty rough. Hope you didn’t get scraped up when we…”
“No,” she whispered. Her voice was barely there. She felt strange, lying naked under the night sky. The stars looked down on her like so many judgemental eyes.
Cherry covered her shaved pussy with one hand, laying her other arm across her naked breasts.
“I haven’t had sex like that since… wow, since I was your age, I bet. Although, when I was eighteen I never lasted half that long. I’d have come the moment my lips met your panties.” Phil’s little finger found hers on the rock, and she had a moment of déjà vu. Suddenly, she felt a lot less gritty. “Thank you, Cherry. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.”
“Please don’t thank me.”
“Seriously.” He cupped her hand with his warm palm. “You let me be primal. You let me be an animal. That’s something Linda never—”
“I really don’t want to hear about your wife right now,” Cherry cut in.
“Sorry.”
Apparently men were idiots at every age. You don’t talk about one woman when you’re in bed with another.
Cherry took a long breath, and then turned her palm up to meet his. “It’s okay.”
They talked about the stars and the Greeks and the mythology behind the constellations. It made Cherry happy to know that Phil had listened to the park ranger’s talk. He had critical thinking skills that Brad truly lacked. They could discuss things that mattered. It was heaven.
“Where are you going?” Cherry tightened her grip when she felt him rising from the rock.
The darkness had softened enough that she could see him now. He looked sleepy but resigned. “Cherry, if we don’t head back to our cabins now, we’re both going to fall asleep naked on Flat Rock. Do you really want to be found like this by a group of hikers at five in the morning?”
“If they let us sleep, I don’t really care.” She let go of his hand and forced her body to sit up. “Will you sleep in my cabin tonight?”
“No, Cherry.”
“Can I sleep in yours?”
“No.”
There he was, playing hard to get again.
After stumbling into their clothes, they clung to one another, each with a flashlight in hand, and crept through the dark woods. Phil was obviously more afraid than she was. He kept gasping and tightening his grip around her arm, which made her laugh. What a wimp.
“We need to be extra quiet,” Phil whispered as they turned onto the stretch of road where their site was located.
“Extra quiet?” Cherry shouted. “Like this?”
“Shhh!” Grabbing her purposefully, he pressed his palm across her mouth. “Do you want to wake your parents? You’ll get us both killed!”
“Killed is a little strong,” Cherry said, but her words were muffled by his hand.
The smoky scent of a wood fire lingered on the air. It could have been coming from anywhere, but it wasn’t. It was coming from their site.
Her parents hadn’t gone straight to bed after star-gazing. They’d lit a fire. They’d stayed up waiting for Cherry to return.
Mom and Daddy rose to their feet like strange monstrous statues. Their faces were stone painted orange and red by the flames.
Ooh, they were mad…
