About the Author

C.L. Wheeler is a native of Wild, Wonderful, West Virgina with a background of community service and education in West Virginia and Texas. She has earned degrees in communications and public relations. Wheeler has worked in higher education, financial services, and volunteer activities.

“Love Lifted Me” is her debut book that led her down the path of self-discovery in the chaos of job loss, divorce and coparenting, single parenthood, dating after divorce to finally re-imagining herself. Through her writing, she unearthed truths hidden beneath layers of self-doubt and fear, but learned the life-changing power of forgiveness, love, and mercy to others, but most importantly, to herself.

Wheeler crafts characters that feel genuine and relatable, navigating familiar scenarios with authenticity and heart. This page turner allows the reader to laugh, cry, and yeah, even belt out a tune or two.
