1. Pomme Anna Butter Baked Potatoes
The French name is so sexy, and this dish is too. Butter and potatoes, what could possibly go wrong?

Ingredients

1.6kg russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

½ stick unsalted butter

Enough salt for each layer

1 tbsp pepper – might not use all
Method
Wash your potatoes and drain properly
Take an over-friendly pan, melt a tbsp of butter, sprinkle salt and
pepper, and arrange thinly sliced potatoes slightly overlapping one another for the entire base
Sprinkle salt and pepper and add a little butter, and arrange another layer
Keep at it until the potato sliced are exhausted
Add a lump of butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper
Place in the oven and bake for about 30 – 40 minutes
When done, allow it to sit for 2 minutes, then flip on a plate
