22. Julie’s Gateau Moelluex au Chocolat

You do not have to know the meaning. It tastes good, and it’s chocolate with a favorite nut. Hey, it is Julie's birthday too.

Ingredients

• 4 large eggs
• ½ cup cake flour
• 1/3 cup sugar
• 1/3 cup sweetened coconut flakes
• 1 cup grated semi-sweet chocolate
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 tbsp warm water
• 1 tsp coffee ground
• 1/3 cup coconut butter
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• ¼ tsp salt

Method

Melt the chocolate and butters over a double boiler and cool

Next, whisk the eggs with sugar until light and fluffy

Add the vanilla and fold in the chocolate mix

Add the coffee, coconut flakes, and flour; folding gently, then add the water

Then, pour into the lined baking tin and bake until a skewer comes out clean

Serve with ice cream or extra chocolate syrup
