California Fried Walnuts

These walnuts are a masterpiece and could be categorized as a snack or desert. No matter how you look at them they are a healthy option that is sure to please almost anyone.
Ingredients:
6 cups water
4 cups walnut halves
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
1.       Bring water to boil in a large sauce pan.
2.       Add walnuts and boil for 1 minute
3.      Drain and rinse the walnuts, then transfer to a bowl and toss in sugar.
4.       Cook at 350 degrees for 5 minutes tossing halfway through.
5.       Sprinkle with salt and serve.
