Crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu

This recipe is so simple, yet it makes such a bland food stand out. The slight pop of flavor with the salt and peppercorn combined with a crispy outside is enough to turn even the most stalwart meat eater into a tofu lover.
Ingredients:
1 pack (1/2 pound) of firm tofu
1/4 cup corn flour
2 teaspoons black peppercorns
1 teaspoon rock salt
Instructions:
1.      Start by draining the tofu as much as possible, up to half an hour if you have time. Simply open the package and leave it on a stack of paper towels.
2.       Cut the tofu into 1 inch by 1 inch cubes.
3.       Grind the salt and pepper with a pestle and mortar.
4.      Pour corn flour and salt and pepper mix into a sealable bag and shake well.
5.      Add tofu cubes to the bag and shake well to coat the tofu.
6.       Cook at 360 degrees for 18 minutes, shaking regularly.
