Pineapple Chiller

3 cups pineapple juice

¼ cup lemon juice

2 (12-ounce) cans cold ginger ale, divided

Pineapple wedges or chunks, for garnish

Combine the pineapple juice and lemon juice and freeze in ice trays. When frozen, dump 1 tray of the juice cubes, one-half tray of regular ice, and 1 can ginger ale in a blender. Blend the ingredients to make a slush and pour into frosted martini or margarita glasses. Repeat this until all the pineapple ice is used. Garnish with pineapple wedges or chunks.

Makes 6 chillers

Extended family is what the S outh is always about. Relatives know each other. Most even like each other. But even if they don’t, they eat with each other.
