The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a set of graphical notations that help us describe and design IT systems. It is definitely handy to know that UML makes considerable use of a block and line form, and line variations and arrows are often used to distinguish between different types of links.
We will describe three out of nine UML notations:
- Class diagrams
- Use case diagrams
- Activity diagrams
