EQUIPMENT
You may now be the proud owner of a fine selection of receptacles, but you still need a few more things to make sure that your lunch gets from A to B in optimum condition. Aluminum foil seems to be one of those household items that no one remembers to replace, but parchment paper is a fine substitute for wrapping a sandwich and looks incredibly pleasing when secured with a piece of plain string. Look at what you already have around you: we wrap bread rolls and boiled eggs in clean dish towels when we’ve run out of Tupperware, or transport washed salad in plastic bags. All very specialist, you’ll agree.
This is what you will need to ensure total lunch readiness, at all times:
• Parchment paper
• Aluminum foil
• Plastic wrap
• String
• Clean dish towels
• Hand blender, for puréeing soups and making dips and fancy dressings;
