Author’s Note: This is apple pie with a twist. Instead of the filling on the inside, it is actually on the inside. Think of an upside down apple pie; it is a great conversation piece over dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 apple
- 30 g stevia
- 100 g almond flour
- 60 g applesauce
Let’s Cook:
- Heat air fryer to 200c degrees
- Put in a bowl the yolk, flour and applesauce
- Add water and knead until it becomes dough like smooth consistency
- Sprinkle flour on a flat working surface
- Roll the dough to a 15cm round, set aside
- Prepare the apple by peeling and remove the core
- Slice into one dozen wedges
- Coat a cake tin with cooking spray
- Sprinkle with stevia
- Arrange the apple wedges in the tin
- Cover the apple wedges with the dough
- Use your palm and press the dough on the sides of the tin
- Put the tin into the air fryer basket
- Bake for 25 minutes
- Take a plate and flip the tin to allow the tart to drop into the plate
- Allow to cool
- Serve
