This should start from a young age. It’s a way to give him access to two areas that will be hugely important to him: the world of work, and the world of men.
Ideally he should do work experience with his father. It’s astonishing to meet many young men who have no knowledge of their father’s workplace – even in two-parent families. Lots of young men don’t know where their father works, and have no idea what he does all day.
