Eight Years Ago

Day of capture: 19-year-old Shiloh attends a college party where she meets Grace, a pretty redhead disguised as a freshman. Grace lures her away from the party and kidnaps her. Shiloh later wakes up in a car with Shauna, another kidnapping victim, while Grace calls her brother Robert for backup. Shiloh and Shauna try to fight them off, but the siblings are powerful vampire fledglings and easily overpower them.

Day 1 since capture: Shiloh and Shauna arrive at a vamphyr’s estate and are forced into compliance by powerful magic. They meet other humans, notably Rowan, who volunteered rather than being kidnapped, and Vince, who’s been at the estate for a while. Head vampire Walter comes in with a PowerPoint presentation, introducing the humans to their new reality as Lord Benjamin’s servants.

Day 17 since capture: Shiloh is worried about Shauna, who keeps sneaking off to meet up with Rowan.

Day 28 since capture: Shiloh and the other recruits have their first feeding test. Adam, the human in charge of servants, reassures her before she goes in. Shiloh passes the test, but Shauna fails when her plan to escape is uncovered. She’s sent to the dungeons for punishment.

Day 35 since capture: Lord Henry comes to visit Master Benjamin, and Shiloh is deeply uncomfortable around him. She takes any excuse to leave the room and runs into a recently released Shauna, who is so traumatized that she’ll do anything to avoid getting punished again. She thrusts a tray into Shiloh’s hands and races off to carry out the latter’s orders in her place. Shiloh seeks some privacy and respite in the stables, only to run into a boy she’s never seen before. Thinking she’s being attacked, she hits him with the tray until it breaks. He introduces himself as Drake, a new volunteer with his little brother, Devon.

Day 37 since capture: Shauna is a hollow shell of who she used to be, fully committed to being a loyal servant. A worried Shiloh goes to Adam for advice, but he essentially tells her to accept how things are.

Day 100 since capture: Shiloh turns 20. She and Drake declare their love for each other and agree to tell his brother about their new relationship.

Seven Years Ago

Day 345 since capture: A while ago, Drake replaced Master Benjamin as lord of the estate and is now a vamphyr. He and Shiloh are still together, but things are rocky between them since she also became a supernatural. Neither of them knows what she is, but Drake is trying to teach her to use magic. Trouble is brewing between him and Lord Henry, and he thinks Shiloh’s new powers can help. When she objects, Drake explodes in rage and nearly chokes her to death. He forces her to call him ‘Master’ and to sleep with him.

Day of escape: Master Drake offers to let Adam have revenge on Robert, who, many years ago, killed a girl Adam was in love with. In exchange, Master Drake wants to turn Adam and put him in the new hybrid squad. Elsewhere, Shiloh attempts suicide by jumping out the window, but she survives thanks to her magic and runs away. When Master Drake finds out, he sends a squad of vampires after her and forcibly turns Adam into a werewolf. Shiloh’s powers save her from Master’s vampires, exploding out of her and killing the whole squad. She is found by Levi and Quinn, two skinwalkers who run a sanctuary for runaways like her.

2 days after escape: Shiloh wakes up in the sanctuary and meets Remi, a werewolf, as well as Levi and Chief Quinn. They offer her refuge for as long as she needs. She sheds her old identity, takes on the name Silver, and vows to kill Master Drake and save her friends.

5 days after escape: Silver and Chief Quinn go check on her family, only to find them holding a memorial for her; it’s been exactly a year since she was kidnapped. Silver decides to let them believe she’s dead so she can keep them safe, much to Chief Quinn’s disapproval.

Bonus Episode 1

Adam: In the first year after Shiloh’s escape, Adam is devastated when he wakes up as a werewolf. He longs to end his life, but Master Drake’s magic forces him not to. Weeks later, Walter reveals that Adam and Vince will be turned into hybrids and will be trained in combat. Adam becomes a formidable fighter, but he can’t stand the thought of drinking human blood. Walter and Grace take him out of the estate to try feeding on a stranger, but Adam uses the opportunity to escape and hides out during the day. Having predicted this, Walter and Grace track his hybrid signature and capture him by nightfall. Adam despairs, but Master Drake promises to release him if he commits to bringing Shiloh back.

Silver: In her first year at the sanctuary, Silver trains with Remi and befriends Chief Quinn’s rescue squad, which includes hybrid Nav, werewolves Miguel and Leena, and vampire Hisa. They teach her how to fight and use her powers. She and Hisa have a rocky start due to Silver’s trauma with vampires, but that changes when Silver goes through her first withdrawal episode caused by her magic. Hisa helps her through it and they become friends, even starting a physical relationship. Months later, as the squad is acquiring a new weapon for Silver, Hisa reveals she’s dying because her vamphyr father was killed without a successor. Everyone at the sanctuary mourns her death when she passes, and it hits Chief Quinn the hardest. The tragedy brings Silver closer to the skinwalker, who finally allows her to call them Quinn.

Now

Episode 1

Remi enlists Silver to investigate a massacre. It turns out Master Drake sent a hybrid squad to kill humans in order to get her attention. The squad has kidnapped a human girl and will kill her unless Silver comes back to him. Remi goes off to inform Levi and leaves Silver with a burner phone to reach him. Catching up with the hybrids, Silver is shocked to discover that Adam is one of them, and Vince is their leader. She spares Adam and kills the rest of the squad, but Vince escapes before she can get to him. Silver chooses not to go after him and prioritizes saving the human hostage instead. Much to her annoyance, not only is 18-year-old Theresa (or “Reese”) immune to magic, she’s also bubbly and energetic, treating Silver with superhero-worship. Silver interrogates Adam, who seems both bitter about and fearful of her magic, and decides to send them both to Levi and Quinn. She texts Remi, agreeing to meet up at a hangar near the sanctuary, only to be ambushed by more hybrids. They nearly overpower her, if not for Adam stepping in, which shocks the other two hybrids. Silver kills one of them but the other escapes. Thinking that someone got to Remi, and therefore the sanctuary, Silver runs there, finding it deserted. Levi left a note for her on the door of her old cabin, telling her that Remi is a spy for some unknown supernaturals, and warning her that Master Drake is watching her movements.

Episode 2

Reeling from Remi’s betrayal, Silver turns on Adam, who followed her to the sanctuary out of concern. She invades his mind to confirm he doesn’t know anything, but she’s horrified to learn he was turned because of her. She pushes Master Drake out of his mind, much to his shock and relief. Adam watches over Silver when her  magic gets depleted and brings her and Theresa to a motel. When she wakes up, she isn’t happy about Adam seeing her in a vulnerable state. She sends a message to Quinn, deducing that they’re rebuilding the sanctuary and will need time before they can accept new refugees, before forcing Adam to leave on his own. She and Theresa then go off to try and steal a car, and they almost get caught, but Adam shows up in time, shocking Silver by kissing her. He pretends they’re engaged and that he’s buying her a car as an engagement present, which works. Once on the road, they realize they’re being followed by Vince and a werewolf squad. The trio narrowly escapes, thanks to Silver drawing power from the car. She kills Vince but spares the werewolves. As soon as they’re safe, Silver is on the verge of a withdrawal episode, so she angrily punches Adam, in retaliation for him kissing her, and leaves to blow off some steam. Once she shakes off the worst of the withdrawal symptoms, she looks up Theresa, only to find an article claiming she died three years ago.

Episode 3

Theresa is clueless about the article, but Silver is furious and nearly kills the girl, if not for Adam. The two later talk, with Adam opening up about wanting revenge just like her, and Silver finally starts to trust him. At nightfall, Theresa is taken captive by vampires, so Silver and Adam track her down to a club operating as a front for a blood-ring. They infiltrate the club, and their proximity makes Silver tense up. Adam mistakenly thinks she’s afraid of men because of Master Drake, apologizes for kissing her and opens up about his sister’s death, but Silver rejects the idea of being a victim and focuses on saving Theresa. Apparently, Master Drake put a bounty on the girl’s head, and the blood-ring was just delivering her to his vampire squad: Grace, Robert, and Shauna. Though shocked to see her old friend as a vampire, Silver get everyone out with minimal damage, even leaving Grace and Robert alive. She puts Shauna in a magical coma and brings her along. She tries and fails to heal Theresa’s injuries, apologizing for not protecting her. She even tells her about the seven discoveries, which helps Reese fall asleep. Afterward, Silver and Adam talk about her plan to kill Master Drake, and she realizes that her magic isn’t as depleted as it should be. Something is making her stronger.
