Health Tip #100 – How You Should NOT Cut Calories
While you might be doing a great job with counting calories and making sure that you are taking in the right nutrition and calorie amounts to lose weight, it is still possible to not lose any weight.
This is because you might be drinking the calories that you are consuming.
Think about those sodas, coffees, smoothies, and other specialty drinks that you are taking in. Unless you are drinking water, you are adding more calories into your day and this can often add up pretty quickly in some drinks.
It is better to spend your time drinking water and a little bit of herbal tea in order to keep the calories down and just consuming healthy foods with nutrients. If you must, limit your coffee to one cup a day and cut out the cream and sugar.
It is best if you are able to just limit your drink content just to water and herbal tea. While it is fine to have some milk and some juice without added sugar, but water is the best option because it will keep you hydrated without all of the extra calories.
You should limit your consumption of alcohol and sodas, even the diet kind, because they are not healthy and they will just dehydrate you a lot more.
