In this section, I will help you configure Google Assistant. First, let's change the Google Assistant voice. Personally, I prefer a female voice, so that is what I have chosen on my phone, by going to Google Assistant Settings | Preferences | Assistant voice. Choose the voice that you would like to use.

Next, configure Google Assistant so that, instead of needing to click on the Google Assistant application to start it, you can activate Google Assistant hands-free by simply saying Ok Google or Hey Google to your phone. To configure Google Assistant hands-free, go to Google Assistant Settings | Phone | Enable "Ok Google" detection and you will go through a series of steps, in which Google Assistant will record your voice to create your voice signature. This only works on Android devices; iPhone requires the user to click on the Google Assistant application.
