Chapter 17
“Wake up! Wake up!” “What’s wrong?” I asked. Ton was sweating and looked pale. “My stomach is killing me,” he said, almost out of breath, his hands clenching his stomach.
I quickly grabbed the prescription bottle. My plan was to look on the Internet for the side effects of 800 milligrams of Motrin, an ibuprofen, but the bottle said it all. “How many shots of cognac did you have today?”
“I don’t know. Eight or nine, I guess. Why?”
“When taking this medicine, you’re not supposed to drink because it can cause intestinal bleeding—I’m calling the ambulance.” I ran to get the cordless phone from out of the dining room, almost tripping on the dumbbell in my way.
He started throwing up blood. “Oh shit! Am I going to die?”
“Not on my watch. The ambulance is on its way. Whatever you do, keep your eyes open. I can’t lose you now.”
“I’ll try.”
As soon as Ton’s lips stopped moving, he lost consciousness.

“Where am I?” Ton asked, lifting his head up.
“You’re in the hospital. Sh! Don’t say anything, and don’t try to get up. You’re too weak. The nurses just got finished running more tests. Your blood is hard to get out. You have rolling veins, so the nurse had to get it from your hand. The doctor will be in here soon.”
“How long have I been here?”
“Three days.”
“Have you been staying here with me all this time?”
“Yes. Right in that burgundy recliner chair in the corner of the room. It wasn’t too bad. I left once to go get registered for my classes and talk to my guidance counselor. Kiki and Teresa stayed here to keep you company. I thought about leaving one of your friends a message, but I didn’t. know anyone’s phone number. Then I thought, maybe you didn’t want anyone to know where you were. Thankfully, you’re going to be fine. Just do me one favor,” I urged, rubbing the top of his head.
“What’s that?”
“Follow the directions on the prescription bottles. You can’t have any alcohol for several weeks, and the doctors will be sending you to a specialist to look at your progress.”
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
“Come in,” I said.
“Good morning, Mr. Costen. I’m Doctor Vinson. It’s sure a good thing your wife got you here just in time. How are you feeling?”
“My stomach feels as if it’s on fire.”
“When you arrived here, things didn’t look so great. You bled out internally, and we had to do emergency surgery to repair the interior lining of your gastrointestinal tract and esophagus. Alcohol can be consumed after thirty days. For two weeks, lay off the spicy foods. I want you to give the lining of your esophagus time to heal, so I don’t want you to suffer any kind of irritation.”
“Will do, Doc.” Ton nodded.
Before leaving the room, Doctor Vinson shook Ton’s hand and mine.
Ton smirked. “Wife?”
“Please. I don’t have any ulterior motives. From watching Lifetime movies, when you say that you’re the wife, people move into action. I would have said anything to keep you alive,” I explained.
“It’s cool. You did what you had to do. Thanks for saving my life. You’re my angel in disguise,” he said, holding my left hand.
For the next two weeks, Ton was on a strict diet, along with his medications. We mainly ate a lot of soup and bread, like the doctor recommended. His shoulder was healing as well. Kiki and Teresa came by to help me take care of him and were relieved to see he was regaining his strength. Most nights, I stayed with him. The girls didn’t mind at all. They were rather happy to see I was starting to really like Ton.
Besides, they’d found their own friends. Teresa met a guy named Will, a sophomore majoring in biochemistry. His dream was to find a cure for common diseases, such as cancer and AIDS—and to get inside her pants
Kiki found Carlos at the Coliseum Mall, a senior cutie who went to her new high school. He was all she ever talked about. More importantly, we were all happy, and that’s what really mattered to me.
“Yo, the movie Belly is playing tonight. Let’s check it out. I’ve been in this house way too long. I got to get out,” Ton said from the master bedroom, sounding much better.
“Sure.” I put the English literature book I was reading atop the rest of the two hundred dollars worth of books I needed for the semester.
“Plus, I’m in the need of seafood. I’m taking you to the Aberdeen Barn tonight. I don’t express my feelings to many people. Thanks again for saving my life and taking such good care of me. I really appreciate it.”
“You’re welcome. All you asked for is loyalty, right? You would have done the same for me. I’m just happy you’re going to be okay,” I responded, tears in my eyes.
Ton pulled me close and gently kissed me. His tongue felt tender against mine.
“Yana, I’m really feeling you. Let me into your heart. I promise I won’t break it,” he whispered into my left ear, and then started nibbling on it.
“I’m scared.” I turned my head the other way and pulled away from him.
“Don’t be. You want me, and I definitely want you. Stop fighting it.” He pulled me back closer to him.
“What do I have to offer you?” Truthfully, all I had was the clothes on my back.
“I’m not worried about that, Yana. You got goals, and you’re determined to make something of yourself. Material things, I’m not the least bit worried about.”
Ton started feeling on my thighs, as we looked into each other’s eyes. He pulled my jeans shorts off, revealing my mango-colored thong. My legs wide open. Ton slightly bit my thighs. It was making me wet, and he knew it. I didn’t want him to stop but was too scared to say anything.
Next, he licked his two fingers and ran them along the outside of my pussy. Then he took his tongue and licked along the outside of my pussy. Finally, his tongue found its way to my clit, flicking it back and forth. It felt wet and warm, and I began to get a tingling feeling. He started licking the side of my neck, while maneuvering to take off my matching bra.
Both of his hands were massaging my breasts now. First softly, then hard. I loved the combination. It didn’t take long for his tongue to find his way to my left breast. Back and forth, he would lick my clit and then my breast, making me more wet. Not only was Ton fucking my body, he was also fucking my mind.
“Let me love you, Yana.” He kept licking my clit.
“Yes.”
“Come in my mouth,” he said over and over again, relentlessly licking my clit.
Suddenly, a burst of pleasure swarmed around the stroke of his tongue and my clit.
“Did you come?” he asked.
“Yeah,” I responded out of breath.
He picked me up, and we kissed the entire way up the stairs. When we got to the bedroom, Ton gently laid me on the bed, grabbed a condom from the drawer, and slipped it on. “I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, Yana,” he whispered into my ear while lying on top of me.
“Ton, I have to tell you something.”
“What, baby?”
“Umm ... I’m a virgin.”
“I’m honored to be your first. Don’t worry, I’ll make it memorable. So far, I haven’t gotten any complaints in the dick department,” he assured me while entering my pussy.
At first it hurt, but once I started getting wet, I wanted to feel more of those deep thrusts. We started kissing again.
Ton motioned for me to pin my legs back as he ran his thumb against my clit and continued to give me those strokes. “Yana, baby, I’m coming. Shit! Damn! You feel so good!”
Little did he know, I came again too. Pretty good for a first-timer, I thought as Ton still lay on top of me.
