Text Log: Gabriel Park & Filipina Legaspi
August 29
Gabriel Park: But I thought you were looking for a job here in Seoul.
Fi Legaspi: I’ve tried. Didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped. Can’t afford to live in my apartment any longer either, so I’m going back home for a while.
Gabriel Park: When are you leaving?
Fi Legaspi: Tomorrow.
Gabriel Park: Already?
Fi Legaspi: All my bags are packed, I’m ready to go.
Gabriel Park: Oh no, you’re not luring me into singing that.
Fi Legaspi: I’m standing here outside your door.
Gabriel Park: You’d better not be. I’m not home. And that’s creepy.
Fi Legaspi: I hate to wake you up and say good-bye.
Gabriel Park: Already awake.
Fi Legaspi: But the dawn is breaking, it’s early morn.
Gabriel Park: Let’s have a decent conversation here.
Fi Legaspi: The taxi’s waiting, he’s blowing his horn.
Gabriel Park: Already I’m so lonesome I could die. Damn it.
Fi Legaspi: ^_^ Thanks for everything, Gabe. Look after the kids when I’m gone.
Gabriel Park: Not funny.
Fi Legaspi: You know what?
Gabriel Park: What?
Fi Legaspi: It feels good not to be a lonely chopstick. Thank you. You’ve always been there for me. <3
