“Never in my life did I think I’d cry over students making fun of the way I dress. It got worse day after day, until I felt like my students weren’t interested in learning anything from me anymore, just because they were so fixated on my fashion choices. In the middle of class, I just stepped out and didn’t return. I hid away in the ladies’ room, crying my heart out.”

“I think that it’s okay for your children to be scared of you, but for them to not feel safe around you because you choose to ridicule them for the mistakes they make, that’s not okay. I did that to my own children, and even though they’ve told me they’ve forgiven me for it, I regret it to this day.”
