Sugarplum Bacon

Makes 16 pieces

1/2 c. brown sugar, packed

1 t. cinnamon

8 slices bacon, halved

Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Dip each piece of bacon into mixture to coat; twist and place on a broiler pan lined with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until bacon is crisp and sugar is bubbly. Cool on a separate length of aluminum foil.

A muffin tin makes a sweet centerpiece…simply place a votive candle in each cup. Mix up candle colors for a festive look.
