APPLIANCES
EVERYONE HAS A SHELF OR CABINET FILLED WITH APPLIANCES THEY don’t need. Remember that juicer Aunt Mim gave you that left no space on the counter? Just get a hand juicer and throw it in a drawer. If you must have something to plug in, here are our recommendations.
Think about how versatile each individual appliance is. Can you only use it for one thing? Can you make your pancakes on a griddle or do you really need that electric skillet? A food processor and a blender are both handy. If you’re going to do a lot of baking, you might invest in a big mixer for bread-making and pasta-making with all the attachments. It will make your life a lot easier. A toaster oven is awfully handy as well, and microwaves are great for defrosting and reheating coffee but other than that, we really don’t like to cook with them.
