TESTER’S COMMENTS
This combination is a winner! What’s more, if fresh peaches are not available, even canned, drained, work well.

Living in the cold Northeast when I was younger, I learned to appreciate the value of a comforting, warm dessert that not only tasted good but also warmed your belly. This delicious crisp will do just that! My family has served crisps during the cold months for generations. (OK, yes: We served them even in the summertime.) I grew up with apple, peach, and blueberry crisp. It’s delicious warm, room temperature, or cold. This one is a combination of my two favorites, apple and peach.

Old-fashioned oats are whole rolled oats that are steamed and then flattened. Quick-cooking oats are whole rolled oats that are steamed and then chopped into small pieces.
