sprouted wheat and fig smoothie
serves 1
3 dried figs, coarsely chopped
¼ cup sprouted wheat seeds
125 ml (4 fl oz/½ cup) almond milk or other non-dairy milk, such as oat, rice or coconut milk
Place the figs in a small bowl. Cover with water and set aside to soak for 30 minutes, or until softened. Drain well.
Put the drained softened figs, sprouted wheat seeds and almond milk in a blender with 125 ml (4 fl oz/½ cup) water and blend until well combined and smooth. Serve immediately.
