MARK LEONARD is Director of Foreign Policy at the Centre for European Reform where he works on transatlantic relations, the Middle East and EU-China relations. Previously he was Director of the Foreign Policy Centre, a think-tank he founded at the age of 24; a ‘Transatlantic Fellow’ at the German Marshall Fund in Washington DC; and a researcher at the think-tank Demos. Mark has established a reputation as one of the liveliest thinkers on global issues through his regular commentary in many of the world’s leading newspapers and journals, and his consultancy work with governments and business. He lives in Camden Town.
