Taking the Biscuit

I was partaking of a cup of tea with both Holmes and Mrs. Hudson, when Mrs. Hudson produced a plate of biscuits: some plain, some containing raisins, and some containing chocolate chips. She passed them first to Holmes and he selected one containing raisins. Now, quite frankly I have never understood why raisin biscuits need to exist, and I believe that Holmes pretends to enjoy them purely because he knows the disdain I hold them in.

In any case, having made his own dubious choice, Holmes turned to me, saying, “Watson, a challenge! I am considering handing you a biscuit of my own choice. Now, if you can make a true statement about what I am about to do then I will give you that biscuit, but make a false one and I will give you nothing. Now, what true statement can you make to me that will guarantee yourself the biscuit of your choice?”

Given my preference for a chocolate chip biscuit, what statement should I have made?
