“I don’t remember that happening,” I replied.
“When it comes to the sentencing,” Holmes continued, “you are given a choice between three punishments. First, you may be hanged. Second, you may face the firing squad. Or third, you may be locked in a room with lions who haven’t been fed for five weeks. Which do you choose?”
