ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Geoff Brown was born in 1932 in Yorkshire, England. He served in the Royal Air Force from 1950 to 1952 and thereafter attended Hull College of Art from 1953 to 1957. He is the author of two novels, I Want What I Want (1966), a groundbreaking work of transgender fiction, and My Struggle (1977), the story of a man suffering from schizophrenia. Brown died in 2008.
