Servings: 3
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Ingredients for Marinade:
1 pound sirloin tip cut
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup olive oil
Juice of 1 medium lemon
1 teaspoon garlic paste
Handful of fresh coriander leaves
¼ teaspoon paprika
Ingredients for Coriander Chutney:
1 teaspoon garlic paste
1 cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
¼ cup olive oil
Juice of 1 small lime
1 medium jalapeno
½ teaspoon cumin powder
½ teaspoon coriander powder
Low sodium salt and pepper to taste
Method:
1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic paste, coriander leaves, and paprika. Pour this mix into a Ziploc bag. Put the sirloin tip cut into the bag with mix and shake well. Let it marinate for 50 minutes to 1 hour in fridge.
2. Meanwhile, blend garlic paste, coriander leaves, olive oil, lime juice, jalapeno, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt in blender until smooth.
3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Put the marinated sirloin in the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes each side (depends how thick it is). Flip and cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Serve hot with coriander chutney spooned over the top.
