Carisealand is a digital research and community-inclusive project of Create Caribbean Research Institute, the first digital humanities centre in the Caribbean (Dominica). It explores how Caribbean people navigate the social, environmental, and economic impacts of climate change and disaster vulnerability, and how Caribbean societies (can) resist these forces and reconstitute lives and livelihoods for more sustainable Caribbean futures. “The Map” (site page) of Caribbean environmental and sustainability resources is a user-friendly database which grew out of a shared interest in Caribbean futurism and Caribbean Sea and Land conservation, between Create Caribbean Research Institute and Naniki story research.
