Save money (and the planet) with these solutions, adding essential oil for all-natural scent.
- All-purpose cleaner: Mix 2 tablespoons mild dishwashing liquid or pure castile soap with 2 cups water in a spray bottle.
- Glass cleaner: Mix equal parts white vinegar and hot water in a spray bottle; wipe with a microfiber cloth or reuseable paper towel.
- Scouring cleaner: Mix three parts warm water with one part baking soda; add a few drops of dishwashing liquid or castile soap for a tougher (but scratch-free) sink-and-tub paste. Or dip the cut side of a lemon half in coarse salt and scrub with that—great for scouring cutting boards and removing tarnish from copper.
